Describe the relationships between the class theme and the story. The class theme is emotions and feeling for people, and in this story it shows that people change and get old and because of there mistakes are grumpy and really want to redo them. Questions-
.) The purpose of the experiment is to see if the water of the fountain of youth actually worked or if it just made you feel good.
.) All of the doctors friends are really old and they all know each other. They are all kind of grumpy during the experiment until they drink the water.
.) The doctor wouldn’t drink water from the fountain because he would go back and repeat his mistake again like the old people. But they think that if they drink it they will just live a different life.
.) I think the narrator was like someone who lived in that area, because they spoke of it like it apparently happened and not like they actually know this is exactly what happened. He might have seen the old people going to Florida and found out what happened.
.) They say that beautiful people when young can get ugly when they old. But some people are still beautiful when they are old. I don’t really believe that everyone gets not beautiful when old.
.) Some people would want to live for 800 years, but some people might want to live a natural life. If i lived that old i would see everyone of my friends and family die and i might get kind of bored just living for that long.
